Did you know that YOU can add groups to fitfindr? Even if you don’t have your own group! fitfindr is community driven and becomes more useful when the community is adding groups and events for us! You know better than us what fitness is around you. When you add a group to fitfindr, you are helping others around you find it as well.
Do you know of a gym that isn’t added? A yoga studio? A local running group? Public tennis or basketball courts? All of those should be added!

Just read an article about a NYC law student with a unique challenge….to not pay for any gym memberships for an entire year, by going to different gyms on free passes, all over New York City! It’s a cool concept, and definitely possible considering all of the free passes out there! She is blogging about the journey and plans to review the gyms as she goes, and then join her favorite(s) at the end of the year! We say good luck! Maybe fitfindr can help her find new gyms and studios during her journey!

This group puts on some amazing relays all over Texas! fitfindr will be volunteering for Lone Star Relays at the Texas Independence Relay on March 6-7, 2009!
The relay is over 200 miles and we will be working a few of the exchange points! It should be a blast! Check them out, and get updates via their group page on fitfindr!
